Little Tid Bit Of A Story I want To Write

She had been in this place so many times before. Felt this fiery attraction that she knew would only end in fatal heart break. So why couldn't she stop herself? Seize this moment right here and run away? She had promised herself she wouldn't let it happen again. She wouldn't allow this beautiful creature to have that power over her. But she was trapped. Lost in his forgiving hazel eyes and  tempted by his soft gentle touch. His whisper in her ear sent chills down her spine. She had to run. She had to escape. But, It was too late. He captivated her every thought. Drowned her fears in his loving and oh so promising words.

Quote Of The Week

Since it is memorial day, I decided to do a couple of awesome quotes about reading. Hope you enjoy:

  • A book is the only place in which you can examine a fragile thought without breaking it, or explore an explosive idea without fear it will go off in your face. It is one of the few havens remaining where a woman's mind can get both provocation and privacy. ~Edward P. Morgan

  • A good book should leave you... slightly exhausted at the end. You live several lives while reading it. ~William Styron, interview, Writers at Work, 1958

  • I would be most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves. ~Anna Quindlen, "Enough Bookshelves," New York Times, 7 August 1991

  • Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counselors, and the most patient of teachers. ~Charles W. Eliot

    Empty

    Drain the blood from me,
Just to feel your own heart  beat.
    Forsaken, Betrayed.
Left to die here right where I lay.
All that's left is this insecure empty
space that used to be my life
If you are to take anything from me,
    Take my memory.
    Because I'd rather feel nothing,
Than watch my life wither away.

    Quote Of The Week

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.” - Charles R. Swindoll
