The Titan Series

So, in lieu of my undying love for The Covenant Series, I have decided to start reading Seth's spin off series. I seriously can't get enough of Jennifer Armentrout and this series!

Check Out The Article I Published On Slant

Hey guys!!

Last month I had an article published on Slant discussing why alcoholism is socially acceptable. Alcoholism runs in my family, on both sides, and I am a recovering alcoholic. It became obvious to me that it is close to impossible to participate in any social gathering if you aren't drinking. Where I still struggle with my alcoholism it makes socializing nearly impossible. Yet, nobody talks about this drug that takes, and ruins, lives.

So here it is. Check out my article and leave comments here to let me know what you thought!! :

Covenant Series Review !

I have just finished reading the infamous Covenant Series by Jennifer Armentrout. I must say that I was extremely hesitant to read this series after all of the horrible reviews that I read.

"The action is practically non existent" - Boyanna

"if you're looking for originality this is not the book for you." -Ezmirelda

I have read just about everything that Jennifer Armentrout has published and have not been disappointed yet. Therefore, I figured it was about time I read the first series that made her famous! Ladies and Gentlemen, I was not disappointed in the least! Forget those negative Nancy's and their bad reviews. No matter what they say about the comparisons between this and The Vampire Academy, this book is on a whole new level that The Vampire Academy could never reach. This is a fabulous story with breathtaking romance, a unique eloquence with words and beautifully calculated pacing that left the readers begging for more with each turn of the page. I have never read a single book as quickly as I went through this entire series. I couldn't get enough.
Alexandria Andros is a strong female character with a wild and free spirit that has an urgent need to do what's right and not what's easy. Most female characters that follow their heart find themselves in pretty stupid situations. However, Alex's heart always leads her to overcome new obstacles that really shine a light on her bravery. She has a relentless spunk and is constantly getting into a delicious amount of trouble. Alex's growth as a character is palpable throughout these seven books and creates an appreciable role model for all who read. I don't want to give a lot away to my readers so I am trying to be extremely vague.

Some people say when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. But when life gives you one seriously ticked off god gunning for your ass, you prepare for war and you hope for paradise.” -Alex (Alexandria) Andros

Who I imagine as Alexandria Andros: Vika Levina

Who I imagine as Aiden St Delphi: Jared Padalecki

The love story between Aiden and Alex is frustrating, passionate beautiful and just wow! I have never read a book/series with a love story that has affected me the way Aiden and Alex's has. Aiden understands every part of Alex's soul even though Seth is the one who has a connection that allows him to feel Alex's emotions. Aiden and Alex fight through every living hell together and still find happiness and strength within each other. They have the type of love that hibernates and builds and finally when you get a few books in it all explodes into sweet, gooey, romantic, sexy, passionate love.

"My heart skipped a whole beat, and then sped up in recognition.
Ah, I knew that voice. My heart and my soul knew that voice." - Alex (Alexandria) Andros

I was captivated by every book, chapter, scene and word in this series. Jennifer Armentrout has a way with words unlike anyone I've ever read. She never ceases to amaze me and I have yet to dislike anything by her that I've read. However, this is by far my favorite series I have ever read; it will forever be my number 1. Her world building is incredible and combines my all time favorite things: paranormal love, and greek mythology. Aiden and Alexandria will win number one book couple in my book time and time again.

I am beyond sad that this series is over, I couldn't get enough and I feel empty now that it's over. I have been living in a constant world that is the Covenant Series and now I must discover a way to move on. I have never been the type of person who likes to reread books because it's just never the same the second time around, but this is a series that I will have to read a couple times. I recommend this story to everyone and anyone.

          Sincerely,
