A Sirens Song continued

Six hours later, here I sat disgusted by ever article of clothing I owned. I did not seem to own anything beyond work clothes. Finally, after what seemed like hours of searching, I settled on a spaghetti strap black dress and strappy black heals. To top off my outfit I added a red rose to pull back the corner of my long black hair. I could feel the perspiration on my hands. I was beyond nervous. It was amazing to feel these butterflies in my stomach again. It had been way too long since I Felt like a normal 23 year old girl. I tried to mentally pull myself together. I looked back in the mirror as I ran the soft bristles of my blush brush along my cheek bones. A loud knock came from my front door, he was here. I took a deep breath and gave myself one last look in the mirror. It was the best I was going to get tonight. I tried my best to walk to my front door, If I ran I would come off as too excited. When I opened my front door I was in complete awe. I didn't think it was possible for Leighton to look much sexier, but he did. His blue streak of hair fell long and straight just off the side of his face while the rest of his silky black hair had a short spiked look. He wore dark jeans, a white button up shirt with a black vest on top. The top button of his shirt lay open revealing the most beautiful tattoo on his chest.

"Scarlet you look magnificent." He breathed with wide eyes.

"You look pretty spectacular yourself." I could feel myself blushing.

Leighton was bound to think my natural skin color was red with how much he made me blush.
